Motorsport Returns to Crystal Palace
After more than a decade since the last tires screeched at the start line, Crystal Palace has seen the return of this special event. For two days in May cars of all pedigree – some vintage, some new – shredded up a small track within Crystal Palace Park to achieve the fastest lap time. The event helped to raise over £3,000 for the area’s charities; St. Christopher’s Hospice and the Royal London Society for the Blind (RLSB). More than watching cars speed around a tiny track, it was interesting just to watch the array of unusual automobiles driving through the triangle while sitting at the White Hart with a cold pint.
