The Relay League
Recently we’ve been involved in the experimental arts project 7 Quiet Acts of Domestic Violence, and Dre was full of questions. So he came up with the concept of The Relay League – an ongoing platform to encourage cross-discipline exchanges of ideas. In a nut-shell, he would ask Tanya Cottingham, the residing artist of 7 Quiet Acts, some interesting questions regarding her reasons for putting on this show and her practice in general. Those who have been interviewed then go on to interview someone involved in a different field of expertise. The questions may pertain to his/her discipline and their thoughts on life in general to find out what concerns people from all walks of life. Our hope with this relay is that with each time the baton is passed, we’ll have some engaging interviews that express the opinions and interests from artists to street sweepers to lawyers and everything in between.
